How To Do Your Bit: Save American Cricket!

USACA has once again exposed American cricket to shame and ridicule, this time through another mangled attempt to run a national tournament. On April 13, the ICC Board will meet to decide whether or not to continue to turn a blind eye to USACA's crippling mismanagement of the game in the USA. My friend, many of us don't know much about the dysfunction in American cricket beyond the fact that there is dysfunction in American cricket.


Do you have any unbiased sources for us to look at to understand the issues better?

USACA somehow manage to make the West Indies board look well-organised and make the Pakistani board look un-corrupt. There's at least 10-20 times the number of cricket fans in the US than there are in Ireland, so it's crazy that they've never been able to get a team together that was able to compete. I'm definitely going to send an email.

I recommend a partnership with Cricket Canada.

Well, if USA gets a cricket team that qualifies for at least T20, all the indians and pakis will definitely root for the USA team as well.

ICC should start having international matches in US. Spend money on advertising. Once they see guys like Steyn, AB deV , Johnson , Kohli , Starc - they will surely get interested!


Or just have a world cup there. Many Indians fans are already there. Plus many people that follow cricket worldwide.
