I have been saying for years now that Jamaica should start over afresh with a farm team and eventually field its own team for world class cricket. It will take some time but in the long run we'll be better off. We have two political parties in Jamaica and we can't seem to ever get unanimity on critical national issues, how then can we expect to have cordiality with other islands who naturally will want to look out for their own interests?

What is a farm team? I agree with the point that maybe the bigger teams in the region should go at it alone if they can't get along in the West Indies and then they can't blame any regional politics for the team's performance.
