Drop Smith ASAP & Motivate Gayle to play the last Hurrah..in the knock outs. I know its unlikely but on small NZ grounds, in form Gayle will take the match away from NZ.

I don't think it's a question of motivating Gayle. Gayle has a "bad back", so who knows if he will be fit.

Even if Gayle is fit I think WI have a really hard task. The ground will be packed and NZ will be up for the game. Plus they have an excellent new ball attack and a miserly spinner who is hard to attack.

But who knows - if WI pull this off it will be a truly great win.

Good that WI play their QF in 6 days time. Gayle will have extra time to recover. Smith is the worst opening batter of all among the 14 teams in WC 15. He is lazy on foot, over weight body & mentally not in.

The bowling is not very good and one wanders about the pitches.I also believe that there remains a lack of application ,determination and true grit among our players.

The arrival of Johnson Charles put both Ramdin and Smith as questionable inclusions.

Charles can cover BOTH the Gloves and Open slot !

That give the Spinner Benn : a look in !

I doubt IF Sammy will be benched ....
