Just think of all the social problems that would be gone if boredom was eliminated from our lives....
War Arguments and disrespect Domestic violence Cheating Whining and complaining Escapism through sex and drugs: Which creates more problems
All of that would be eliminated along with the elimination of boredom. And what would replace that is inner fulfillment and financial wealth, because the mind would be uncluttered with distractions to solving problems and taking action.

I had a dream where I was in school and Patty was the teacher. Patty asked me what is the secret to a better life. I said I didn't know. Patty said the solution to a better life is a world with less men, less boredom and less idolatry. Then the Dalai Lama walked in and said that desire is the source of unhappiness, and that when desires are quenched they lead only to other desires. As desire cannot be fulfilled, the Dalai Lama told us, to be truly satisfied one must renounce all desire. Before the Dalai Lama left, Patty asked him if he found her desirable. The Dalai Lama said no, so Patty threw a coconut at his head. Then I woke up screaming.[/size]
