Alistair Cook would have made a difference.

How his replacement do ?  :-[

Well Australia are looking like favorites with that display today. They lost Watson for a first ball duck but still managed to score over 300 runs. Solid batting line up and good bowlers. Teams like West Indies don't stand a chance against Australia.

Fich shouldda gone for a Duck as well  Sad

watson needs to make way for clarke, not bailey.

Woeful performance by England. Just a dismal display. They play the extra specialised batsman and can't even score 250. England are in serious trouble if they can't get any runs out of the openers and Morgan continues to come up small (four ducks in his last five innings for a grand total of 2 runs scored) and that's not even taking into consideration some of his tactics as a captain.

England's bowling at the was again shockingly bad, why do they insist on bowling short? I don't recall one full length yorker in the last 10 overs. You would have thought they would have learned something after the tonking against Australia in the tri-series final.

On the flipside, Australia look as though they are going to take some beating. Their batting is so deep and explosive throughout.
