In a lengthy statement outlining his case, Powell claimed the director of cricket Richard Pybus accused him of “walking off the job”

and insisted that unless he provided him with written details of the personal issue that prompted his decision

and returned to “grassroots cricket”, his chance of getting back into the West Indies team would be compromised.

Well finally the WICB provides some answers. I was wondering what happened to Powell when  I saw Devon Smith in the squad. Powell should have played in the regional 4 day season instead of playing in Sri-Lanka if he wanted to represent the West Indies in the up coming series.
