The houses in Colorado are a bit higher than I'd be willing to pay. I could get a better deal in Atlanta on a house for sure. But the rent in Colorado is about the same as Atlanta's. Around $700 for a 2 bedroom apt. Or if you want to buy, then Colorado has nice houses you can get that you don't have to update from 165K and up. But the 165K isn't high in availability. Most of the hooked up houses appears to be in the mid to high 200k range.
I'd rather hit Atlanta because I can get a slamming house for as little as 125K.

Then I think economically, Atlanta would be the better move.
The cost of living appears to be cheaper than Colorado. You could move into a county as close to your plant as possible, and rent a really nice house or apartment. And Atlanta has almost all of the same stores and banks that NY does.
