Okay, that's true....
Many men and women can only love somebody who abuses them. This is in fact what the Bible keeps telling us over and over in allegory.
Though I'm not talking about that.

You're talking about children. So it's true that the bad boy gets the girl. And the bad girl gets the boy. Adults have no desire to abuse or be abused.
