**** Is Lloyd a patsy or for Real??? ****

I was pleased Lloyd was named chairman of selectors but it appears he too is on the gravy train.

I would have expected him to have recalled Shiv to add stability to the OD squad and sent to India to see if he still has the ability given the manner in which Shiv was unceremoniously discarded but importantly, at that time, his fitness was excellent and he was scoring runs.

Lloyd pulled out with his players after only 2 tests of the 77-78 home series in favour of Packer leaving Kalli to pick up the pieces and that was about money and the Board and yet showed no support for the payers' actions in India given the continued bullying by the WICB.  Poacher turned gamekeeper syndrome.

We all know the WICB can and have dictated team selection and given the Hyatt accord it appears Lloyd has proposed to go against that accord and exclude Rampaul, Bravo, Pollard and Sammy from the SA series and most probably the World cup. Many more learned commentators than I have outline Bravo's statistics...

The WICB is attempting to use a red herring excuse that the team was selected based on merit and form. Nothing could be further from the  truth.

Unfortunately, post Cappo, Lloyd has come over IMO as 'hanging his mouth where the soup is dropping'
