I can see allowing 1 BUT 4  ??????????????

Does anyone know what the record is for most substitute fielders used in an innings? A quick google search came up empty.

The ICC needs to take some action. Allow 2 substitute fielders.

After that you shyte out of luck.

I think a limit is appropriate for the simple reason limitless numbers are subject to abuse!

Why not allow a substitute batsman/ bowler?

I think it was abuse that led to the changes regarding when a bowler could bowl after being off the field and where a batsman can bat.
