What obfuscation? You claim that India has put a lot money into its space program which should go into alleviating poverty. I simply asked you to tell us how much money it has poured into its space program at the expense of the poor. And why only apply this puerile logic at India. Why not apply it to other countries with space programs?
And further if you're suggesting that money for research, development and technology can be better spent on the poor then why can't you apply this "logic" to Pakistan's nuclear program?
Your argument is a stupid one but I'm only indulging you because I know it sticks in your craw that India has the technology and human resourse to put a space craft in Martian orbit but Pakistan and it's Muslim neighbours are still busy dealing with stone age Talibans.
