Search parties recover the bodies of twenty-year-old Kishana Hollingsworth and twelve-year-old Tracy Duggan in the Wotooka Area, Linden. Hoillingsworth and Duggan were reportedly found around 7 hours 30 on Sunday, half a mile from where they were last seen. The two along with seven-year-old Kwesi Miggins, whose body, was discovered floating in the Demerara River on Saturday, were all victims of a boat mishap. Reports are that around 17:00 hours on Friday, a fourteen seater boat capsized with person aboard after the captain attempted a sudden turn, during a Diwali fun day at Watooka house, Linden

I am not surprised about the loss of life. That stretch of the river is highly dangerous. The water flows a lot faster in that area, partly due to the rocks sticking up from the bottom of the river to just below the surface of the water at full tide. I have seen many dead bodies recovered from the river, and that was just a fraction of the total number of lives lost in the river.
