24  : Number of minutes in which Misbah got to fifty, also a record.

The previous record holder was Mohammad Ashraful, who scored a fifty in 27 minutes, against India, in Mirpur in 2007.

I missed this. I'll keep an eye on youtube; highlights might be uploaded.

The funny thing is, Misbah, like Chanders, has a reputation as a slow as hell test batsman. And like Chanders, he now has a super fast test century under his belt.

But what is up with the Aussie bowling? Why are Pakistan making this look so easy?

Funny how alot of Viv's records are being matched this year.

2 Number of instances where two batsmen from a team have scored twin hundreds in a Test.

Misbah and Azhar Ali scored two hundreds each in this Test. 8)

The only previous instance involved Greg Chappell and Ian Chappell, in Hamilton in 1974.

I just realized this Pak team has an Imran Khan bowling for them.

That must be a good luck name.

1  Number of previous occasions when Pakistan have set their opposition a 600-plus target in a Test.

Pakistan beat India after setting them a 607-run target in 2006.

Aussies are a resilient bunch . Won't  put past them to draw or win this game
