I cannot support the players quitting in the middle of the Indian tour.

The WICB is run by a bunch of incompetent morons. We all know that.

But it was dead wrong for the players to quit when they did.

The WICB ought to permanently ban all the senior players who quit----Dwayne Bravo, Denesh Ramdin, Lil Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Ravi Rampaul, Kemar Roach, Jerome Taylor, Marlon Samuels, etc, etc

* If those players are not banned, then the shyt will continue---players striking.

Why do you not support them?

Is it because Shiv now will not be playing 3 tests in India or for some sound reasons?

If, as players, you are sold up the swanny would you just sit back and let it happen?

The players, from all accounts and endorsement from the likes of Holding, went without contract and gave evey opportunity for a resolution to be reached.

I suppose if, without warning, you turn up to work tomorrow and you are told your salary will be cut by 65%, hypothetically, will you continue working?

I think not so, based on the facts presented to us, I cannot see anyone not being able to support the players.

In fact if the players are not supported who are?

* STRIKING IN THE MIDDLE OF A TOUR WAS DOWNRIGHT FOOLISH.

* I would have had more sympathy for the players if they had chosen to strike before the series started or after but definitely not in the middle of the series.

* I SAY BAN THEM.

I take your point about the timing but a call for a ban is quite childish as you are not looking at the cause rather the effect.

* India has suspended all bilateral tours with the West Indies.

* Australia has doubts about touring the WI next year.

* What the players did was dead wrong---striking in the middle of a tour.

* THERE MUST BE CONSEQUENCES.

we need to study and look at this carefully.

The players offered to work under old contract wicb refused.

* As a business owner I support the slave owners(WICB). Big Grin

* If the slaves(players) are not happy---they are free to leave the plantation(WI cricket)---other slaves(players) will willingly take their places.
