shive as scab, sammy etc and west indies captain is example of the system divides and rules.

Ramdin is not a scab..but most of the legends are now as they punish the current players for what the themselves did in their own time.  Lloyd is the chief example, now besides himself in apology to the Indians for a cirageous ction by the players that requires praise and pride in them as west indians.  that is the mettle we are made of.

there is no need to apologise to India.  they understand no matter how much dam empty noise the BCCI makes.  the wicb should be in negotiations with India to make up if not to late..rather than having the execrable Lloyd on his knees in Delhi or Mumbai or where ever in Indian he is currently kneeling down

Given Roberts a knighthood  and he turns from  from a commentator with an independent voice into a soup a garbled drinker, mindful of choking on his soup.

ordinary west indian's see the issue clearly and support the players.  if the ordinary folk can see truth why cant the legends see the same thing ::confused:: ::confused:: its not rocket science!

piss on the houses of the legends.  Piss especially pon Lloyd's house..a more disappointing past west indian cricketer I have never met.  great captain though he may have been on the cricket field,  Lloyd is no Frank Worrell, Bryan Lara,  or even Viv Richards, off it

Didn't India renege on their Tour to South Africa? Didn't that hurt South Africa? Or is it one rule for them and one rule for everyone else?

excellent post.  timely reminder!

as I said there is nothing to apologise to India for.  the Indian people understand for sure and need no apology from ordinary west indians. for what is a clear and important development in which the player response is appropriate

so who in the hell is soup drinking Lloyd apologising for..the west indian people who do not need to apologise to any one in this issue and support their players, which is absolutely positive and poweful action in support of themselves and their nation-in-waiting...or for the wicb who looking to dodge a BCCI 65 million dollar bullet.

But Ramdin dissing Viv with that note = scab ... ;D

THE BCCI SHOULD BAN THE WEST INDIES----NEVER PLAY THEM AGAIN----WHAT A BUNCH OF FOOLS

how dat make sense Rev ::confused::

india never pull out of a series yet  ::confused::  did Indian not pul out also of Oz over empire dispute...

did not Pak pull out of one for the same reason..or dropped at least 1 test match while threatening pull out ::confused::

did Indian pull out of a RSA series...

isn't our overall  global exploitative society  inherently unstable for that very reason..the exploitation of the many by a few which threatens to explode in whole at any time..while always in explosion in some parts somewhere..exists in open hostility between owners and workers period ::confused:: ::confused:: ::confused::

you behaving Rev as if some people are good and others are bad rather than everyone at all times looking for, fighting for security class against class in the way we make our collective living

come on Rev..sharpen up.  the players did as they shud have.  there is no case against them.  nada!  why dont you try and build one.  the destabilising actor in the mix is skamerons'  wicb.  focus your vitriol there and leave the players alone

this current BCCI is a bunch of greedy hypocritical rich exploitative skunts who are making altogether too much fcuking useless noise.

they are no paragons them..fakes looking to bell the wicb and west indies cricket on principle of which they have none themselves.

they shud shut up and see what is the best immediately and long term that can come out of this for India.  that is not what they are doing.  they stressing the situation unnecessarily which will lead to consequences bad for India, west indies and cricket in general.

same way skameron and his wicb acted.  but the wicb has a vested interest in its decision to eff around with wipa.  that is what they are there for..to squeeze workers.  the BCCI too.  that is in the nature of the business.  the only difference is that the wicb is black and small and the BCCI is big powerful and brown

maybe the problem for BCCI noise is that brown doh like black :Smile :Smile :Smile

I cannot comprehend anyone not agreeing with the players on this occasion.

Mail ... let me reiterate my opinion in this blame game .... WICB, WIPA & players are all to blame for the situation WI cricket now find themselves in !!!

I empathize with the players BUT I do not agree with their refusal to play mid tour.  I blame them for going to India in the first place without an agreeable contract.  People say they are greedy and money grabbing .......... I say I don't think they're very bright !!!  Maybe they just like a bacchanal !!

So they go to India.  Had they refused to play before a single ball was bowled would've been a different matter and in my opinion had they done so, they would've forced the issue and it probably would've been resolved and to their advantage and tour would've gone ahead.

However, to string it out and then refuse to play (close the stable door after the horse has bolted) .... no !!!  Once they started the tour they had an obligation to finish it !!  Every board must be wondering if they won't do this again.  The situation as it was last week .... finish the tour, come home and refuse to go to SA until an amicable agreement was reached.

Re the other two parties ... WICB & WIPA .... both Cameron & Hinds should've resigned a week ago !!!

Like I said previously ... nothing will change and once this dies down ..... it'll be onto the next crisis while the players look forward to playing IPL !!!

It doesn't appear as though the interview has been uploaded onto the BBC iPlayer as of yet. I will keep checking back and pass along the link if and when this gets archived.

Cal, you are correct!

The players need to sort out their house first before even thinking about discussing anything further with the WICB!!
