The growing impasse between West Indies players and the West Indies Players Association (WIPA) has intensified with both sides exchanging bitter emails in the past week. After Wavell Hinds, who has been the direct target of the players' ire, vehemently refused to step down from his dual positions as WIPA president and chief executive, the players fired fresh salvos against him via a two-part letter highlighting the discrepancies in his response.

Only in the West Indies would a WORKER beg his EMPLOYER to PROTECT HIM FROM A UNION which traditionally exists to protect the WORKER from the EMPLOYER.

Things like this is why I always say the West Indies must reverse their batting line-up and let the bowlers bat first.

Corruption rules !

That is why I could care less IF no Guyana players are selected !

The impasse between the West Indies players and their union is one of the reasons why I believe that every meeting being held in business should be recorded on video tape so that everyone can look back at it and determine who said what and what was agreed on.
