In an indication the issue was far from settled, however, West Indies ODI captain and player representative, Dwayne Bravo, sent a letter to the WIPA on Wednesday morning urging its president and chief executive Wavell Hinds, and other officials with conflict of interest, "to tender their resignation unconditionally with immediate effect."

Surely the players can force avote and get Wavell out!

I have never heard of a Union refusing to represent its members especially where they seem to have such harsh terms foisted on them.

negroes bwoy!  not one of them..{us} have any class at all these days.

the further slavery and colonialism recedes into the past the worse we get. just put ah man anywhere near to a bribe and he will sell his mother

But the Union is obliged to represent!!!!

Just when you think the changes with Captaincy, Chairman of selectors, new ideas and the team is stringing together some convincing results this pay issue is once again threatening everything.

What really are they aiming to cut? Is it the match fees or the central contract payments?

This used to be the tariffs

A-rated players — US$120,000 per year
B-rated players — US$80,000 per year
C-rated players — US$60,000 per year
D-rated players — US$24,000 per year (covering “developmental” players).

Players on the list who make the West Indies team will also collect fees of
US$5,000 per Test,
US$2,000 per ODI and
US$1,500 per T20 International.
They will also collect US$35,000 per day in sponsorship fees.

Part of Wavel's response  ! ::LOL::

"It is both unfortunate and surprising, that your “advocacy” on behalf of the players has been

coloured with personal attacks on my competence and integrity considering the history of our

relationship. You should never forget where you are coming from, and who you have met along the

way to the current location in your life’s journey.
