Lessons learnt from these 2 practise ODI games

1. Fly in Shiv or Paint to play on the ODI team
2. Drop Leon
3. Ramdin, who scored a century today, must bat a bit higher
4. Drop Pollard. He cant play spin
5. Drop a fast bowler and play 2 spinners. The Indians eatting up our fast bowlers.

Adding Mail's points:

1. Lloyd, wake up
2. Kick Sammy off the ODI team
3. Ramdin must captain the ODI team. At the very least, Dwayne Bravo
4. Chanders (or Paint) must be on ODI team to provide stability
5. Holder is not improving as a bowler
6. Samuels has no place on the ODI team

Play Leon in his correct position :

Leon needs to be given a run.

I do not think the lad is up to it, at International standard,  but if you select someone it is only fair they should have a run. At the same time look at Samuels he has made his fortune on if and buts so Leon should have a fair run.

I do, however, prefer Blackwood to Leon by a country mile.

Badree and Bishoo are good options but for me I will go with Bishoo with an aim to have him in the test team.

I wish Benn the best but he might be whipped a bit. Benn has developed some guile which i like.

Lessons to be learnt?

Pollard should not be Captain in any format just now.

Why didn't Ramdin do the job?

Another lesson is Lloyd should not treat this role as a retirement gig and opt to resign if he continues the Butts legacy.

Lloyd should know, unless Tiger said I have retired from this format, he should play as an opener with the brief to be positive but bat through. No brainer, really. The man is fit and has an appetite, so unless he believes something else, I am not sure if he has gone senile already.... Be off with you Lloyd. If Shiv returns crap SR then resign him and silence those of us who believe he was sent to pastures far too early.

Another Lesson understand Holder has not improved as a bowler.

Another lesson, you are going backwards having Sammy in any squad but a T20 squad. The guy is useless, despite his innings today. He cannot play as a batsman but if you choose to do this then have him as a pinch hitter at the top.

Ravi has to keep on playing.

The last lesson, but certainly not exhaustive, Samuels is a conformed failure and should be dispensed with.

Finally Lloyd you are being a disgrace and hope you improve.

I don't know how Samules is being called a failure when he to scored in the first practice match. Wet Indies need bowlers and I think they should call up Rampaul and drop holder. Holder is ordinary and doesn't do much for me. They need spinners also so I think Badree should play in the odi series.
