For the life of me, I don't understand why Palestine is a state that other countries refuse to recognize. I understand Israel is a powerful country, a country where other equally powerful nations have significant financial investments. I guess the investment is equated to silence on Israel's atrocities toward Palestinians. It's amazing to me how people can have blatant disregard for human life. Anyway, Sweden's recognition of Palestine is long overdue but don't expect this to become a popular trend at all.
