West Indies Have the Ability to Beat India: Richardson

"When you are a top team and you lose, you just can't wait until the next series to really put things right. I just hope that it continues to be a problem for India. We know they are going to look to avenge what happened in England. Put things right, because they were heavily criticised. But we are up for the challenge and we also have a lot to prove. So we are going to go there and play positive cricket and look to beat India," the former West Indies skipper said here in a press conference.

"The fact that a number of our batsmen have been playing against Asian spinners, it certainly would help. But one would say the Indian spinners are a better combination and much more formidable. So we would have to work harder, dig a bit deeper. Certainly having recently played against Bangladesh would help our batsmen," he said.

He needs to keep quite till he does what he said.In other words all these are oly loud mouths acc to me.If intends to take psychological advantage,let him do so when it starts,by pressurizing the opposition.

I certainly agree they have the ability but can they perform to the best of their ability.

It is a war of attrition and application, patience and crease occupation is what is required by the batsmen and the bowlers are required to also be patient but maintain that good line.

Only one man has shown this determination and tehy all need to learn from him.

I feel the test series will be closely contested and I expect Windies to do quite well.

When you have guys like 3S in an ODI squad, I anticipate a mullering especially if all 3 play together.
