RE: MOST CENTURY PARTNERSHIPS IN TEST CRICKET

Ketchy:

* That's a new stat I am working on for the stats page over at shivisgreat.com

* I believe Shiv is up to 70 century partnerships. He has been involved in the most century partnerships by a West Indian batsman.

* Ponting was involved in 63 century partnerships; Kallis 68

* Will have to double check those figures.

* Dravid was involved in 81---Tendulkar in the 80s also.

* This coming weekend I'll put together the record----Shiv might be in the Top 3---behind Tendy and Dravid.

* Most of the stats those guys are putting out we have already mentioned here on the Pitch.

* Check this:

Quote:In the 8 years since Lara retired, since Jan 2007, Shiv has played in 57 tests. He has scored 4948 runs at an average of 71.71 with 16 hundreds and 25 fifties.

See Link:

Shiv's 71.71 avg since 2007

* Shiv has put up some stunning numbers since Lara retired---he has had the highest average of any batsman----but all his haters want to talk about is Shiv bat slow and Shiv has tons of not outs. Bloody idiots.

I think the most recent should be on Top of the page as opposed to the bottom !

Example : MOST TOP SCORES IN BOTH INNINGS OF A TEST:

World Record:
When Shiv topped scored in both innings against Bangladesh in St Lucia

in 2014
with 84* and 101*
