I thought I would ask a question. I would like to know where the majority of leg spin bowlers focus during the delivery. In the past I looked at the batsman and bowled too many full balls.
I now focus on the batters feet or at a drivable length and this has improved my consistency.
Would like to know where others focus and why? Is there a correct focus area to aim at?
It's an individual preference thing, you can't really say what's right and what's wrong, Paul Adams looked at his own feet! I look more or less at the batsman's helmet and try to bowl the ball directly towards it or slightly above it with as much energy and revs as possible.
Well I am not a batting expert but as a former school boy cricketer I say you should always focus on the ball no matter what kind of bowler is bowling. You should not focus on a particular spot on the pitch because you can't predict the motion of the ball with 100% certainty.
