5th Match, : Barbados Tridents v Kings XI

Punjab at Mohali, Sep 20, 2014

George Bailey wins the toss for Kings XI and they will bowl first !

34 after  3 overs

Perkins 9 . Munaweera 25

3.1
Awana to Perkins, 1 run, dropped. Again Perkins is trying to smash that length ball past

the bowler, and again he gets an edge. This one gets to Viru at slip above his head,

but although he gets both hands to it, he just palms it over, like a football goalie

44 after 4 overs

The Barbados tridents have gone off to a flyer. Going at over 10 runs per over after 5 overs. Lets hope they continue and post a decent target to give themselves a chance to win. Perkins just got out so its 54-1 after 5.1 overs.

10 - 2 after 6 overs

5.6 Awana to Munaweera, OUT, gone this time. Mishits another one, and doesn't get away with

Munaweera c Vohra b Awana 50

5.1 Awana to Perkins, OUT, woeful shot. This is as ugly a heave across the line as it gets

87 - 2 after 10 overs

Reifer and Carter @ 13 each

100 up !

10.4  Maxwell to Reifer, SIX, huuuge. This is a towering strike over long on

10.1  Maxwell to Reifer, FOUR, this is quick, short. Reifer cuts it late enough to beat

109 - 3 after 13

12.1

Anureet Singh to Carter, OUT, this would have been a length ball, but Carter gets down the pitch,

JL Carter c Miller b Anureet Singh 20

134 - 5 after 17 overs

16.2 Perera to Chigumbura, OUT, another short of a length ball and a pretty typical Thisara wicket

14.4 Perera to Franklin, OUT, ho! But Thisara gets the better of him that time.
