Mahaicony grandmother celebrates 107th birthday

Alice Alberta Crawford, of Calcutta, Mahaicony is now 107 years old.
Crawford celebrated her birthday on Monday last with a ‘gala event’ at her home

I am jealous but happy for her! I have said for the longest time I want to live to be over 105 just to say I saw 100 years on this planet. I say 100 years because the first few years I don't really have a memory of what happened. All I can hope is that she remains healthy, happy and continue to see more years of her incredibly bless life. Such a sweet and special occasion to celebrate. I remember when I was working in a nursing home during my senior year in high school. I was a receptionist on the weekends and I can recall a resident telling one of the nurses that it was his birthday and he was 102. I vividly remember his smiling face and his mood being so joyous and how great his memory was at the time.
