That seems alarmingly complacent,to say the least.he may not be concerned about spin in the World Cup but it should be noted that their batsmen did not play pace very well in Oz last summer either.Amounting to their inability to play both spin and pace puts them in a spot of bother now.
I hope spinners rip England apart in the world cup next year because their captain obviously seems complacent. I believe a spin bowler such as Narine will still be a factor in the world cup regardless of where the tournament is being held. Spinners or not I don't see England as a team to win the world cup.

He and ajmal will loom as the biggest threat and it is widely known that only the finger will not be of too much effect in the WC,the "mystery" bowlers will sure be a force to reckon with.
England is a hard team to write off and so is cook.He may walk down and produce a masterclass innings.
I though i am not writing them off,but it will be a hard fight for them.
Well, we are going to see if they are able to handle spinners in Australia or not. I hope they manage to winย couple of matches and put up a good fight.

That sounds like a bit of desperation..Ha ha..
England sure can go past the first hurdle but when it comes to the semis,they surely will falter because subcontinent teams and Aus itself will be a force to reckon with.
I am sure India are strong fire favorites,and they just have ascertained it.

To be fair to Broad, what is he supposed to say here? We are useless against spin? We are afraid of Narine, Ashwin, Ajmal, et al? It's all just paper talk. All that really matters is what happens between the wickets. We all know that England aren't good enough to win the world cup but it makes no sense to admit that publicly if you are a captain or player.
