Ben Stokes' first One-Day Cup century of the season helped Durham beat Nottinghamshire by six wickets.
The England all-rounder made 103 and shared a 150-run third-wicket partnership with Mark Stoneman (86), as Durham chased down the target of 223.
Good for him! He's a handy allrounder and good to see him perform. IDK if he's good enough to play tests - probably not - however he could be more than handy in shorter formats.
I hope Ben Stokes does not get discarded from the scheme of things by England. He has the potential to be a genuine all rounder. His bowling is much better than Chris Woakes in my opinion and he has the batting talent to hold his place as a batsman alone in the team. England will be pleased to have this headache on their hands.

I agree, Kyle. I think Stokes may well end up being better suited to the shorter formats though I would much prefer Stokes than Woakes in the Test team.

You'd prefer Stokes over Woakes? Woakes is pretty good actually. And he seems to be better in both departments to me. And he deserves a good crack at tests before being dismissive. He's got impressive stats to back him.
