Michael Vaughan Wants Alastair Cook Sacked
I would say this is the penultimate afternoon of Cooks captaincy, but England might not last that long tomorrow

The question then becomes if Cook is relieved of the captaincy does he also lose his position in the side? Given Cook's continued poor run of form there has to be some serious consideration to dropping him from the side completely. I would imagine that James Vince and Michael Carberry would be given some consideration.

Cook will not be dropped in this series for sure, but a break is on the way..
This is a high profile series and the ECB wouldn't take harsh decisions right now,it might affect the course of the test and with India already 1-0 up,they will want to extort something back..Maybe give him a longer run and check if he can offer more for the side.

Cook is Cooked if he loses this game. he shud be gone by tomorrow! ::LOL:: ::LOL:: ::LOL::
I don't think England are going to sack Cook right now and certainly not in the middle of this series.
England prepared a Lords pitch with a lot of grass on it and got outbowled by India. The England seamers were poor and should have dismissed England for less than 200 on day one.
In the second innings I think the Jadeja factor got to the England fast bowlers and they proceeded to bowl short to him - Jadeja won that battle.
