Essex have dropped Monty Panesar for the County Championship match against Derbyshire because of poor form.

The England spinner, dropped by Essex last month for breaking "timekeeping" rules, has taken 23 wickets in nine Championship matches.

Since returning, he has claimed only four wickets in three games and Essex head coach Paul Grayson believes Panesar needs to regain confidence.

"Monty Panesar has been left out on current form," said Grayson.

Since he piss on somebody life has gone downhill for him.

Karma just took a piss on his career? Tongue
Seriously tho WTF ever. He pretty much owned Indian batsmen in India, I actually thought that was like the very boost he'd needed for his career. But oh no.

sounds like monty's cricket at this level is over.

Well he still could build his career up. Swanneh made a big return way later in his career. Although IDK if same would be the case for Monty tbh.

Monty now..?? Trott, Pietersen, Swann, Prior earlier owing to some nonsense reasons..England is ruining careers (KP, Monty) by the same nonsense.Maybe this is all for goo,and maybe ha can comeback stronger.
