Well Smith has failed in both T20 innings against New Zealand. I don't know what to say, maybe he is just not motivated when playing for the West Indies. After all, the IPL pays a lot and much is expected of players in return so maybe he has the motivation there.

Simmons at least played somewhat better. Smith's been really shyte all the way.

It has actually time and again been proven that he can't bat in the windies uniform.Be it with Mumbai Indians or Chennai super Kings in IPL.Maybe as @Trinidaddy says,if he can put up the IPl/league uniforms underneath his WI uniform,he might score.He is an asset to any team..but just that he doesnt click with WI.

No doubt, like other Windies players Smith is also fantastic in IPL. Hope one day he will perform for Windies team too.
