Docs Can't Afford Soaring Vaccine Prices

As if the anti-vaccine movement wasn't bad enough, immunizations are becoming too expensive for many doctors. Over the past 20 years, the price of drugs have gone from single to triple digits—making the average cost to fully vaccinate a child rise from $100 in 1986 to $2,192 today. The Affordable Care Act mandates full coverage of the vaccines, many of which are required for school entry. Many doctors say they are losing money on each vaccination, while manufacturers are making more money. Some doctors have taken drastic measures to immunize their patients, remortgaging homes to pay the tens of thousands of dollars it cost to buy each batch of vaccine.

Big Pharma strikes again.
One wonders what their profits would be like if Americans weren't addicted to prescription drugs and they were providing vaccines at a fair and affordable price. The answer is easy: Their profits would still be huge.
They have no shame.

The way I see it, the Docs can go somewhere, they have been making money off people for ages now, and some don't even do their jobs. Its about time the people stopped having to spend money and the docs get a dose of their own medicine.

I just have to say that I don't believe that the number of doctors who are mortgaging their houses to purchase vaccines for their patients is more than a small handful.
