Is this the first time a seagull has ever prevented a six?

Feel sorry for that birdie, wrong place at the wrong time. Most animals when hit usually stay alive for a short period of time through adrenaline but then sadly die after a while..did it survive..??
This might well be the first occurrence i have seen and heard of.

I felt that one for the seagull. It was hit out of the air by a ball which was struck hard. It is the first I have seen such an occurrence and I hope the bird survived. Being hit by a cricket ball is one thing but being hit with a ball that was struck so hard can do some damage to a person so imagine what that bird felt.

I feel for that seagull too. Although if you eat non vegetarian such you really shouldn't get bothered Tongue Maybe it was stunned instantly by the hard impact, so painless death I'm guessing.

Also no, I haven't seen anything besides that before. I mean I have seen Huss hitting a massive 6 and unfortunately roof preventing it from being one - that's the only one I know where 6 was "prevented"
