The West indies were poor this series no doubt but in defense of Gibson, I don't think there is anything he could of done to prevent the defeat. In sports such as football where the manger or coach chooses the team and playing styles ect, the team's performance would be as a result of the coach but in cricket the players on the field are responsible for their actions. Gibson was not the only one who choose the team and there really is nothing he can do about how players bat or bowl when they are playing a match. Getting a new coach will not solve WI problems because it is the players that are not performing.
Gibson's contract extended..? What the hell is wrong with WICb,are they out of their minds or what.Had it been any other team,they would have fired him,for repeated failures,but WICB is always nuts.
Gibson has guaranteed the WICB that he will lead the WI to a world cup victory in 2015...??
