Shiv got 15 of the 215 runs he needs for 6000 runs at HOME.

* The ball shiv got out to could have been left alone, but he tried to tickle it for a boundary and got caught behind.

* That's cricket for you.

* Hopefully Shiv will ATONE for his low score in the 2nd innings.

Shiv is making some poor batting decisions.

Is he getting close to the end?
Sadly, it seemed pretty obvious to me.

But as usual I was jumped upon.

It would be a terribly sad day, for all cricket lovers irrespective of tribe, when Tiger hangs up holsters but it comes to everyone.

I still think Shiv has much to offer but he is, more than normal, batting negatively and surviving.

I will not write him off just yet but the paucity of fixtures and not playing ODIs, which he should be, creates a problem for Shiv.

Some time ago I also said, it is unlikely Shiv will pass Lara's record and that too did not go down terribly well and although I wish he does, it is appearing more unlikely.

I do wish the chap the very best and hope, when the time is right, he jumps before being disgracefully pushed.

* Shiv scored 40(15 +25) of the 215 runs he needs to reach 6000 at HOME.

* So now Shiv needs 175 runs to reach 6000 at HOME.

* Hopefully he'll get those against Bangladesh.
