* Back in the old days, WI players used to dominate shell shield.

* It was difficult to get selected for the West Indies team-----lots of competition.

* Today you have young batsmen averaging in the 30s in first class and then getting selected for the test team.

* Regarding the bowlers---Look at Gabriel---he has a first class bowling average of 30+----no way he should be playing tests.

So do people want WI to win this or what? Also @Rev - I don't like Opiss either, but at what point do we start giving credit to the coach again? It seems a bit unfair to enforce a lose-lose scenario surely.

As we all know the WICB has not been one to penalize coaches for poor performance by the team and series defeats whether at home or abroad. I hope the WICB will finally take a stance and get rid of Gibson as head coach. When the board gets serious about getting good results and holding people accountable for poor performances then the West indies team will start making progress.

ALL other International cricket Coaches in # 1 ~ # 6 Ranked ICC TEST teams:

have been changed.

Opiss is the ONLY exception.
