A poor dismissal from Bell's point of view not getting the elevation on a ball that was there to hit but he picked it up only as far as Malinga

And now they dash off for rain which looks like it could be heavy.

Very black at the moment but looking at the radar it seems like after this band of rain

has moved through, it should be clear for some time so we should be confident of a game

of some sort but it could be curtailed because the rain at the moment is pretty heavy..

Usual rules apply, we have some time in grace before we start losing overs, they can reduce the length of the interval to try and keep it to a 50-over per side match, but this being a day-night match, there is less time in hand at the end of the night.
Covers very much still on and large puddles have quickly formed on the outfield but it is brighter in the distance.
Just depends how much damage this heavy rain has done.
