I heard different as to the cause of the chair incident.

I heard that Hilaire accused Ramnarine of tefing money. It's an allegation which would cause an extreme reaction from most folks and moreso if the accuser is someone like Hilaire.

The meeting, whose details were leaked to the media, proved inconclusive ;

Gayle wasn't picked for the first Test in Jamaica.  :-[

The WICB met with Chanderpaul ahead of the first Test against India in Kingston "in what

waa fruitful and productive meeting regarding his future involvement in West Indies cricket".

In the case of Sulieman Benn,  the board said :

"it will continue to engage Mr. Sulieman Benn in an attempt to resolve issues relating to

his discipline and behaviour".

That was June 2011

3 years later all 3 names are on the squad for the NZ TEST series.

WRT the Gayle matter the sweetest part was when Gayle drop the bombshell on Hilaire and request a NOC to play in the IPL.

Despite Hilaire's bluff talk a few months earlier implying that the board could withhold permission, Hilaire knew that he had to grant it unless he wanted a Caribbean wide political firestorm which would almost certainly have occurred.
