QUEEN’S Park allrounder Akeal Hosein, 21 years old, bowled himself into the history books this weekend when he became possibly the first player ever on the domestic circuit to take two hat-tricks in a single match.
Hosein achieved the feat in either innings of a crucial National League Premier Division match against Caldrac at the Oval with the Parkites prevailing by 130 runs.
The left-handed spinner had figures of six for 40 in the first innings to help dismiss Caldrac for 124 and then grabbed five for 38 in the second innings to rout the visitors for 111.
