SYOSSET - Police tell News 12 Long Island that a female body was found inside a car that belongs to a missing girl located in Syosset. The identification of the body is pending.
The gray Nissan Altima belonging 22-year-old Jasmine Joseph was located in Syosset Plaza off of Jericho Turnpike around 1 a.m.
Police removed the vehicle from the parking lot after discovering that the license plates matched up to Joseph's car. News 12 Long Island has learned the keys were found inside the car.

Joseph told her parents that she had been taking nursing classes at NYIT in Old Westbury, but the school confirmed to News 12 that she has not been enrolled in any classes since last May.
