ketchim: By 35th over SR up to approx 3.5 - 4 ....tbc

ketchim: repeat after me : Openers still in there at the 20 over mark with a  SR of 2 or less.  tbc...

agree or disagree?

I disagree!!!!!  a strike rate of 2 for the first 20 overs??  this is not test cricket!!!

During the first 10 overs the strike rate should be around 5.  First 20 overs, the SR should be 5-6.  pick up the singlles!!

The Race is NOT for the Swift BUT for those who Endure to the End  Wink

Caution : Hold on to your wickets for dear life until 20 overs done !

It matters NOT if your SR is 1.75 , 2 or 2.5....

The Game is 50 overs !

The pair focused on survival in the testing conditions at the start of play as Guyana crawled to 20 for 1 in 14 overs.

Fudadin was on 8 off 53 deliveries before striking Guyana's first boundary in the 15th over off Mervin Mathew

but by the end of his knock he made 51 crucial runs.

protecting the middle order from deliveries that darted around on an up and down wicket.

Guyana captain Christopher Barnwell and Leon Johnson provided a late burst :
