Guyana's bowlers teamed up for a determined effort to claw out a 22-run win over Windward Islands on Tuesday at Queen's Park Oval. The win meant that both Guyana and Jamaica have qualified for the semifinals while Windward Islands and Ireland have been eliminated from advancing in the Nagico Super50 tournament. With 30 needed for victory in 36 balls, Veerasammy Permaul took three wickets in the space of seven runs to end the match leaving defending regional 50-over tournament champions Windward Islands stunned.

Claw and Steal ?

This was a well executed 50 Overs strategy by GUYANA !

coupled with poor Captaincy from Sebastien of the Windwards XI  Tongue

#3
steal is incorrect!  the Dotties gave away that game.  They were firmly in control with only 4 wickets down then they just gave it away.

I wonder if bookies were involved!!  Tongue

Everyone sensed a batting collapse. You could feel it, then Permaul made it happen.
