I think that anti-corruption policing takes a hit, too, when all decisions are made based on potential financial impact to the Big Three.

if only this coincided with a smart and nationalistic west indian period we could make some real hay here, looking to carve out an area of influence in the region..stoking development in canada and the usa and making sure that the ICC breaks up... and that in any reconstitution of an international body that it is democractic fus and that our position is strong on the ground anyway

the americas belon to us and we should go grab it to solidify ourselves in the world.ย  we shud be focused on making our game strong again to facilitate this.ย  and when we done we have the bahamas, bermuda, USA, Canada, even the Latins playing the game

that is the real dunciness in the wicb doign so much crap now rather than seeing the full regional potentia as w way of breaking dependence on the ICC and whetever the eff they do.ย  let them talk about two tier.ย  if we doing it right we should not need to be bothered by that at all

Yeah, I really really hope this won't materialize. But the problem is the smaller boards can't resist much. It's pretty much what the major boards decide, especially India. See DRS for eg. - it'd have been universal had India not made a fuss of it.

I still hope it faces fierce opposition and they drop the plan out of shame.
