I had the blessed moment of watching sachin speak.He came to our organisation named "Velammal Trust".We were aghast at his simplicity,he was offered a red carpet welcome befitting a prince,he turned it down but later we forced into the grandeur welcome.His speech was so inspiring,he instilled an extra layer of confidence in us.Our brains which normally doze off after a few minutes in class was all attention to this.I took lots of pictures and will cherish it forever.

Tendulkar, who holds almost all coveted batting records, said that

"all records are made to be broken" and if his records are broken,

"it better be by an Indian".

It's not right to say he never had tough times during his career, though his tough times were relatively less when comparing with players like Ganguly and Dravid.
