Dwayne Bravo retained by Chennai Super King
Kieron Pollard has been retained by the defending champions and winners of the Champions League T20 last year, Mumbai Indians.
Kolkata Knight Riders have retained mystery spinner Sunil Narine.
Chris Gayle has been retained by Royal Challengers Bangalore.

There's no surprise in this as all the retained players are playing significant role in their respective IPL team. West Indies players participation in IPL is very important.
