Do We Even Need Banks Anymore?
With Fed out of the way, what's next on Wall Street?NEW YORK - With the U.S. Federal Reserve finally announcing it will start tapering its stimulus, removing a big uncertainty in the market, can Wall Street expect a stronger finish to the year? Not really.
Well, the whole economic and capitalist system can be called "outdated" and banks are the cornerstone of that. I don't think the fates of goods, people and the outcome of the crisis for example should be determined so strongly by privately-owned corporations, but that could just be me being crazy.
