39 YEAR OLD SHIV: A Fighting NOT OUT

OK Folks:

* [size=14pt]Like the Rev previously mentioned, Shiv Chanderpaul usually struggles to move into double figures whenever he plays against New Zealand.[/size]


* These are Shiv's last 7 scores against NZ: 0, 0, 9, 43*, 76, 1, 6

* That's 5 single digit scores in his last 7 innings.


[size=14pt]Maybe after chasing balls 2 days in the field----39 year old Shiv was too tired to concentrate at the wicket----next time Sammy should win toss and bat----but then again----Shiv has failed against NZ-----in 17 tests he has been ordinary.[/size]

* That 38 average by Shiv playing for Derbyshire was very telling.

* For most cricketers---a 38 average would be good.

* But Shiv is a man of higher standards-----38 was a fail.

i still cant understand sammy keeps putting kiwis to bat. with 441 nz has the psychological advantage
