May peeps have inspired me....but the greatest is of course still is my Mother!

every day i am more in awe of her and the life she gave to us....raising 10 children without a husband, the youngest being only 1-yr old when our dad died! looking back....i can't recall ever missing not having a father in my life.  my mom was the one who made sure we all felt that way.

May Allah grant her Jannah-tul Firdous!

another person is my oldest sister-in-law

she got married in Gy at 16 and by 21 she had three children.
she only completed to Form 3 in Gy

she came to canada in 1971 did a few evening courses at the local community centre
got a job with the Federal Gov't - worked with them for 35 years, earning promotions and retired making an awsome salary!

I always wonder what she could have accomplished given the opportunity to get a higher enduction.
