I don't know, it doesn'tย seem all puppetry. To me, it looks like a case of selectors going full retard AND puppetry. For eg. how would you explain away Sammy being captain in TESTS but taking his captaincy away from ODIs except resorting the full retard hypothesis? I think someone would half a brain would do WI a world of good - although yes, granted that problem runs far deeper.
