India win by an innings and 126 runs ........... before Lunch Day 3 :-[

Two tests completed within 3 days clearly, puts into perspective West indies recent successes against minnows and all at home to boot. Against stronger teams this West Indies team are not as developed as they should be in this format.
It is unfortunate the team had little preparation and opted for team bonding, which is normally a constructive thing, instead of some four day preparation.
I do not think this West Indian team lacks talent but, often, it appeared a nightmare before a School game or it sometimes appeared a T20 on speed, or something equally contraband, but nothing I saw from the West Indies suggested it was a Test series, preparation or not. I do not want to be too harsh, but even a Beer match has more intensity.
Cynically it was as if West indies were paid by the Indians to be beaten, clearly that is not the case but that level of ineptitude, I have never seen in International Test cricket before.
Even the seasoned Chanderpaul was a wicket waiting to happen, although he seemed to me to be the only one putting up some sort of a fight but even he had soft dismissals. However it is all about team.
Whether the squad on tour should or should not have gone is a matter of fact now, but it just serves to show the depth of existing problems so the Cricket Authorities need to act quickly but not callously.
No whole sale changes, as this may only create more instability, but firm changes are required.
