Some of the world's most exotic beauties from across the globe impressed as they dressed in eye-catching outfits ahead of the 2013 Miss Universe final.

The event - which took place in Moscow - saw entrants take to the catwalk in a variety of stunning costumes designed to provide an insight into the cultures of their home country.

All 86 contestants paired their impressive outfits with an equally eye-catching head piece.

Miss Universe Great Britain Amy Willerton took to the stage in a royal-themed number but the true star of the show was American entrant Erin Brady who came in an Transformers-inspired piece.

Olivia Culpo from the United States became the first from her country to claim the title in 15 years when she was crowned champion last year.
