Dubai: Former Indian spin ace Anil Kumble will deliver the second annual Mansour Ali Khan Pataudi Memorial Lecture on November 13 in Mumbai, a day before Sachin Tendulkar’s farewell Test match begins there.
The lecture, to be held at the Taj Mahal Palace hotel, will have gala representation of the cricketing fraternity with India and West Indies teams, members of the Pataudi family, former India captains and teammates of ‘Tiger’ Pataudi along with the top brass of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
“It will be a great honour to deliver the second MAK Pataudi Memorial Lecture. Tiger Pataudi was one of those who shaped the history of Indian cricket by leading from the front. We will always be indebted to him for his impact on Indian cricket, as a player and leader,†Anil Kumble said in a press release.
